Hi All,
Does anyone know what is the meaning of the following alert:
ALERT ID = 000015Y
TIME = Fri 13-Jul-2007 03:10:29 CDT
STATUS = Cleared
SEVERITY = Informational
MANAGED OBJECT = 148.206.100.12
MANAGED OBJECT TYPE = Routers
EVENT DESCRIPTION = 148.206.100.12: Authentication Failure:MinorAlarm;
I am getting one or two of these alerts every day but I am not sure the reason that triggers it.
Regards

It's likely that this means there is a community string mismatch between what is being used by the polling station, and what is configured on the device.
Verify community strings match on both.

In case if we are configure SNMP v3 Credintial on both Devices . so what is missmatched.
ON ROUTER SNMP V3 config by User name and Password with MD5 Authentication same Credential on Monitoring System .
