Back up policy for syslog

I have set syslog backup policy using parameters=max file size 100MB, back up location is default(D:/CSCOpx/log/Log_Backup/) Long time those files have appear twice. E.g. 21.12 flat file appears twice.(same file size, same syslog information in files).Also some of the files size is bigger than 100MB. Any idea what causes that.

not sure why the files appear twice, but the backup will continue to save the data even after the data has exceeded the specified size of the backup file. However, the system will send an e-mail asking you to cleanup the backup file.
