Backup of LMS 2.6 SP1 database fails with error (686)

Hi,

I am trying to backup LMS 2.6 SP1 database on Windows 2003 server prior to performing a local upgrade to LMS v.3.2. But I get the error below. I saw another article related to this error code https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/652601?tstart=8 So I already verified that the server does not have any other cygwin applications installed and that the registry value key is empty.

Per LMS 3.2 upgrade instructions, I upgraded DFM from 2.0.10 to 2.0.11 because documentation say it would cause backup to fail. After successfully upgrading DFM I used the wapper.pl script to run a CLI backup of the database but I am still getting the error below. I could try to perform an inline upgrade from the DVD. I believe all the application data for the other modules may migrate successfully and DFM data will probably fail to migrate. Is this my only option now?

thanks,

John

CORRECTION:

At first it appeared that the backup was failing. But the DFM upgrade actually did fix this problem. After running backup again it did finally succeed with RC 0. Thanks
