Bandwidth Dividen

Hi all, just wondering if anyone have any idea on how to divide a bandwidth ?

For example, i have 512/128. and I have 2 network user with a single router.

Is it possible to fix each user's max download to 256 , so that each other won't over use the network load ? and both will have the same fix speed ?

sorry for my stupid question. as I've been trying to find the way to do this.

hi

i would suggest to check out something inline with CAR which can help u out to do this or else use class based policing which i wont suggest in the first place..

just match the ip access using access-lists and use up the same in conjuntion with rate-limit command which can very well work out for you.
