Best method to rotate syslog_info on LMS 3.2

Hi,

What is the best method to rotate the syslog_info file on Solaris?

Currently I have been using logadm which I think is causing issues.

Cheers,

Sigfrid

You should use the included /opt/CSCOpx/bin/logrot.pl script.  You can configure log file rotation under Common Services > Server > Admin > Log Rotation.

If you must use logadm, use the -c option to make sure the inode number doesn't change when rotating syslog_info.
