Hi Everyone
We have a strange problem.
All network devices are found exept IP Phones and our Callmanagers.
Any ideas?
Greetings

Indeed without the callmanagers being known, you won't find any IP phones.
Check the SNMP credentials with
http://lms:1741/cwhp/MgmtStatToDev.do?deviceIP=10.10.10.5
with the IP address of your callmanager.
If that is OK then check CDP neigbours on the switch where the callmanager connects.
You may add the callmanager ip manualy to the DCR but it won't "connect" to the switch unless you have CDP configured on it.
Cheers,
Michel

Are you seeing this problem with User Tracking or topology services?
If its topo services you need to make sure SNMP/CDP are enabled on the CCM
IP Phones will not appear in the topo map, but should appear in UT

Hi Michel
What credentials does need to be configured in LMS for the Callmanager, so that it can be registrated fully, and IP Phones can be found.
Is SNMP Read enough - or do we need SNMP-Write, HTTP User / Passwords and so on ..... ?
Thanx so far

For Campus Manager you will need to have a RO comm string configured on the device, CM does not look at credentials such as passwords
