--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

WINDOW: Discrepancy Details Dialog

EXPORTED: Tue Sep 09 14:01:54 EDT 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Type Link Speed Mismatch

Severity Medium

First found 2008/09/04 20:02:15

Description :

[10.8.0.52,GigabitEthernet0/2],[10.8.0.50,FastEthernet0/18]

This link has ports with mismatching interface Speed.

Port GigabitEthernet0/2 on device 10.8.0.52 with ifSpeed 10000000

Port FastEthernet0/18 on device 10.8.0.50 with ifSpeed 100000000

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

but when I look at both config, I don't see the problem...

10.8.0.52

Port Name Status Vlan Duplex Speed Type

Fa0/24 Vers SW-3-2-A /18 connected trunk a-full a-100 10/100BaseTX

Switch_Salle_3.145#

10.8.0.50

Port Name Status Vlan Duplex Speed Type

Fa0/18 Vers Switch_Salle_ connected trunk a-full a-100 10/100BaseTX

Switch_3-2_A#

Why is that?

I also have issue with severity Low that I would like to remove from the discrenpancy table!

Type UplinkFast not enabled

Severity Low

Description :

[10.8.0.10]

UplinkFast is disabled on the switch: 10.8.0.10

Note: This discrepancy may not be applicable if the device is not an access layer switch

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

UplinkFast not enable, how can I remove this physical discenpancy from Campus Manager if the device is not an access layer switch

Merci,

The first discrepancy is probably due to the way ifSpeed is being reported via SNMP. If you hardcode the speed to 100 on both ends, that discrepancy should go away.

The second discrepancy cannot be cleared unless you specifically disable this type of discrepancy under Campus Manager > Admin > Network Discrepancy > Configure. The ability to acknowledge discrepancies comes in Campus 5.0.
