campus manager topology services show the end host icon

hi all,

I worked with the Ciscoworks lms 2.5,my customer want to show the end host icon in the network topology.How can I let the end host show?

Normaly you will only see devices in the topology that run CDP.

If you want to run CDP on a server you have to install a CDP agent and an SNMP agent on it.

There are perl modules to run a CDP agent and commercial packages.

I meant to say:

f you want to see a device in the topology you have to install a CDP agent and an SNMP agent on it.

Unless the device is running SNMP and CDP then it will appear in User Tracking as an end station instead of Campus Manager.

CM looks to see if a device is running CDP before it determines if it is a device that will be in topology or UT
