Can we pull data from LMS 3.0 to populate other systems?

In prior versions of CiscoWorks, we had the DBReader process working to populate our Change Management DB. One of our developers was able to get this process working, but he is no longer with our company. I cannot find much information on the DBReader process at all. Is there any good information out there on how to export inventory information out of LMS 3.0?

DBReader is not a supported tool. There is no documentation on it. Currently, there is no supported method for accessing the LMS databases directly. We are adding programmatic direct access to some read-only views in LMS 3.2 due out this summer.

In the meantime, you can use tools such as cwcli and cmexport to extract data from the RME and Campus databases (respectively) in XML format. These tools are documented in the LMS online help.
