Cannot start demo of SDM

I have downloaded and installed SDM onto my laptop and downloaded the SDM_Demo_Tool file which I copied to C:\ as instructed. I then ran SDM, entered 127.0.0.1 and received an error message saying that the router cannot be contacted or is not running HTTP/HTTPS. Any ideas on why this is not working as checking through forums no one else seems to be having this problem

Re: Cannot start demo of SDM

Since you have a router I would recommend using the actual SDM as opposed to the demo. I will tell you that SDM demo does not work with Vista yet (or Mac which I believe you mentioned in your other post in the tools thread)! Use the regular SDM with a Windows OS! You must enable the HTTP server on the router (you referenced AAA and yes, you must perform the aaa new-model command from CLI but that is for AAA.. you can then enable AAA from within SDM)
