Case sensitive

Hi,

I'm using LMS 2.5, and using host file to resolve device names. Host file contains all device names in uppercase same as the device names.

Is there any way to access devices either by name or IP(like Device Center) with either case.

In RME/CONFIG/SYNC ARCH....it takes only names n its case sensitive....

What version of RME are you using? I no longer have LMS 2.5, but in 2.6 (a free upgrade from 2.5), I am able to search case insensitively. There were numerous device selector improvements in LMS 2.6, and an upgrade is highly recommended. You can download LMS 2.6 from http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/lms26 .

Hi Clarke,

The RME version is 4.0.3. I'll download n try to upgrade to 2.6

Do I need to take any precautions b4 upgrading to 2.6 or its simple process...
