I have to test VoIP/Video over 3640[IOS release 12.4(1a)] router with a NM-16ESW card.I have already made voip/video run over it, now i want to implement QoS using CBWFQ.From the documentation of this interface I found that it supports:
"Port-Based Reclassification for Queues on Each 10/100 That Are Configurable Using a Weighted Round Robin (WRR) Scheduler".
Since it says WRR & not CBWFQ clearly, im not sure whether it will work or not.
pls guide.

Saif.

Hi Saif,
As you have mentioned , the ESW card supports QOS ( L2 QOS ) where you cannot define the queues as done by CBWFQ , but you can utilise the available four Queues on
the L2 engine of the router .
Traffic is sent on the four queues based on the COS value being set or from the cos value recieved from the Ip phone .
You can look at this document , but requires privilege login
hope it helps

Thanx.but i don have the privilaged login.
secondly i must mention here that i used no switchport command to make it work as router, i mean IP address can be configured now on it.
