CDP protocol on Windows Server

Hi all,

I would like to find a solution to implement CDP driver in my W2K servers in order to have a view of my servers in LMS and to help us on the cabling system.

I know Tallsoft sold a CDP monitor but I would like to use the CDP driver delivered by CISCO with CISCO CRA or IP_Communicator.

Is it possible to have the CDP driver alone?

Regards,

Yves-Alain

Re: CDP protocol on Windows Server

Even if you can add CDP and SNMP to your Windows server it will not be a supported device in LMS. The best it could be would be an end host in a user tracking report. For this you wouldn't want CDP and SNMP on it.
