Cisco Configuration Professional 2.7 does not discover EVM-HD-8FXS/DID FXS Ports
We have a 2951 running IOS c2951-universalk9-mz.SPA.152-4.M2.bin with a EVM-HD-8FXS/DID Network Module with a EM-HDA-6FXO daughter card installed in a SM-NM-ADPTR. We are running CCP 2.7 but this problem has also existed with previous versions of IOS and CCP.
In the left panel under Router Interfaces --> Analog Trunks only the FXO ports appear. If we also attempt to add an analog phone under Unified Communications (CUCME) in CCP the response is that there are no FXS ports available. We can configure the voice ports, ephones and ephone-dn through CLI (also with STCAPP support) with no problems. However if we do manually configure the voice ports with CLI, CCP notifies us that the MAC addresses for the specific voice ports are invalid, probably assuming that these are FXO ports instead. The manual CLI configuration of the voice ports and phones work okay however it would be nice to configure them in CCP along with 80% of the other configuration tasks we perform in CCP. Since the analog ports work fine with CLI I am assuming that this is not a PVDM issue (PVDM3-64 and PVDM2-64 with adapters).
Does anybody have any idea what we might be doing incorrectly and what "show" commands might be helpful in resolving this issue?
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
