Cisco LMS 3.2 portal issue

Hi,

We have installed a Cisco LMS 3.2 in Window 2008 server with R2 standard edition. We are able to get the login page but once login is passed the next LMS portal page is not coming up. And we are getting an error "Page cannot be dispalyed". When we checked all the ciscoworks services are up and running. These are the logs from the server. Please help us to resolve this issue.

Re: Cisco LMS 3.2 portal issue

Best try to reinstall on a supported operating system.

  • Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition
  • Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition
  • Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition
  • Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition
  • Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition with Service Pack 1 and 2
  • Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 1 and 2
  • Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition with Service Pack 1 and 2
  • Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 1 and 2
  • Windows 2008 Server Standard and Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 1

Windows 2008 Server Standard and Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 1 and 2. Both 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems are supported on the above versions.

Re: Cisco LMS 3.2 portal issue

Thanks Michel for your reply..

Right nw LMS 3.2 is running on Window 2008 server with R2 standard edition. And as per Cisco doc LMS 3.2 is supported on Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition with Service Pack 1 and 2. So I guess R2 standard edition will also support LMS3.2. Please correct me if i m wrong.

And also Pls suggest if any patch is reqrd to make it wrk.?

Many Thanks,

Divya

Cisco LMS 3.2 portal issue

No, the Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition with Service Pack 1 and 2 and the Windows Server 2008 R2 are really quite different OS's

The 2008 R2 is supported from LMS 4.0 with a patch and 4.1 and up

Cheers,

Michel
