Im using Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.0 as a central device discovery and inventory for all network equipment. Then I try to export the database to multiple other systems, primary through the REST API. My question is if it is possible to get the Port groupings you define in Cisco Prime through the API? Basically see which interfaces are part of a specific group.
I have asked the question earlier about the description of interface here: https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2264941 If that would be possible its easy to make search filters by yourself to find the interfaces you are looking for. But at this point i havent found a way to do it, so instead make filtering with port groups in prime and in some way export it through the API.
I have searched google, nothing found and of course red the API documentation... Anyone know if this feature is avaliable or will be in 2.1?
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
