Cisco PIX 6.35 issue

Dear All,

Refer from cisco link http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/migration/guide/pix2asa.html

that a software can change pix 6.x config to 7.x. I try to transfer the running config to

tftp server from a PIX 6.35 version but it is fail, any one can help me ?

P.S. My tftp server can ping to pix firewall each other, also tftp server already open.

ITB5P02# copy running-config tftp

Usage: copy capture:<capture-name> tftp://<location>/<pathname> [pcap]

copy http[s]://[<user>:<password>@]<location>[:<port>]/<pathname>

flash[:[image | pdm]]

copy tftp[:[[//location][/pathname]]] flash[:[image | pdm]]

Re: Cisco PIX 6.35 issue

With PIX OS 6.x you need to use the 'write net' command:

write net 10.1.1.1:pixconfig.txt

The copy command is only good for copying new PIX OS or PDM images with 6.x.
