Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.0 - Hard limit 500 rows

Hello all,

one question, how do you use the "Export Device" function eg. in the "Device Work Center"

  to export your devices in an encrypted *.csv file when you more that 500 devices? (see attachment).

Selecting the first 500 devices is no problem in an unfiltered view... these are always the same, the first 500....

But how do I select the folowing/next 500 devices...? By manual selecting them? That's not funny.

I do have up to 2k devices .

It is not possible to export all devices with one step in one *.csv file. (in LMS4 it was no problem)

Is it possible to do it via CLI?

I've the same problem with more than 2500 devices.

How could I export all selected devices and not only 500 ?

You can query using the REST API and use the paging to specify the start row of the results. See the examples in the documentation (embedded on the server) as follows:

thank you for this advice, Marvin. This looks interresting and could propably help me.

I hope the next CPI will not have just a "Hard Limit", using the REST APIs is a little bit more complex then simply using the GUI.

Hello Julien,

with Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.1 (2.1.0.0.87) it is now possible to export more (all ?!) devices,

I exported 2274 deviices.
