Hi, I'm no Cisco expert by any means, and have a questions around redundancy options for Cisco Secure ACS for Windows 4.2
I can't seem to find anyway of providing a High Availability option for this.
My Client has a requirement for there to be redundancy within this environment, and if it can't be provided, an alternative Microsoft RADIUS option will have to be impliment.
Can anyone provide me with information on if this is actually doable?
Thanks in advance.

I can think of a couple of ways. The first is to have two ACS servers and have them replicate to each other. Second you could implement SLB/CSS/ACE load balancers and have the ACS servers behind them.
Hope that helps.

Does this apply to version 4.2 looking on the cisco website i can only find information for older versions.
This for example.

Yes, it will work for version 4.x as well. Cisco rarely updates it's technical docs to show what version(s) are supported.

Oh fantastic, thank you. The documentation part was very frustrating...
Thanks again.
