Is there a way to run a report or check the load on a device from Cisco Works LMS 3.0. I could not find any documentation from help. I could easily check from the Sup card but no lights are active on the swtich load led. I could also use the cpu utilization command, but I would like to monitor it in Cisco Works.
You can use CiscoView to monitor CPU utilization on a single device in real-time. If you want to do reporting and trending, you will need the CiscoWorks Health and Utilization Monitor add-on which is shipped as a 90-day evaluation in LMS 3.0.1 and higher. LMS 3.0.1 can be downloaded from Cisco.com at http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/lms301 .
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
