CiscoView 6.1 askes SNMP credentials

Hi,

We have LMS 2.5 and SP2. Now when i want to view a device with CiscoView 6.1 it askes for SNMP credentials. But these should be provided by the repository? Isn't it?

How can i fix this?

You might be running into bug id CSCeh22258:

CiscoView challenges for credentials when only host names are in DCR

SYMPTOM:

CiscoView Challenges user for SNMP Credentials even when the device is successfuly

stored in DEVICE and CREDENTIALS in CS and is selected from the OBJECT SELECTOR

in CV.

CONDITIONS:

This will happen when the customer added devices using HOST NAME (not IP).

WORKAROUND:

-----------

Manually add an IP address in D & C for every device, and CV will not challenge.
