CiscoView 6.1 view problem

Hi,

I have just finished setting up my first install of CiscoWorks LMS 2.5.

From my testing all suites are operating as expected with the DCR reports stating that both SNMP v2c & v3 authentication is successful.

However I have a really unusual problem with CiscoView 6.1 which various searches on google & cisco cant seem to answer:

I can browse devices in Object selector but when I select a any object it states:

"User doesn't have the privilege to manage this device with CiscoView"

If I open a device via its IP that isn't in Campus Manager I get prompted for SNMP auth, but refused with same error.

Can anyone tell me what I have done incorrect in snmp? Bearing in mind all other LMS apps work fine. Here is the config:

snmp-server engineID local xxxx

snmp-server engineID remote 8.x.x.x

!

snmp-server user un1sa ***** v3 auth md5 ****

snmp-server group ***** v3 auth read **** write ******

snmp-server view ****** iso included

snmp-server community V2write rw NetworkManagement

snmp-server community readV2 ro NetworkManagement

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: CiscoView 6.1 view problem

Fixed fault by un-installing Ciscoview and re-installing with 6.1.1 serv pack.
