CiscoView device package found for one Cat3750 but not for other with same

RME 4.0.5 on solaris 9 ( I know it is not the latest patch level - customer plans to upgrade beginning of april)

for one Cat3750 with sysObjectID .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.1.516 CiscoView states that it can't find the applicable device package for this device. For another 3750 reporting the same sysObjectID it is no problem...Both are running the same version of code:

with problem:

03030GS01-01, 10.255.96.65:

Switch Ports Model SW Version SW Image

------ ----- ----- ---------- ----------

* 1 12 WS-C3750G-12S 12.2(25)SEE1 C3750-IPBASEK9-M

without problem:

006-02-01-23, 10.4.0.23

Switch Ports Model SW Version SW Image

------ ----- ----- ---------- ----------

* 1 12 WS-C3750G-12S 12.2(25)SEE1 C3750-IPBASEK9-M

I compared SNMP on device and did an export of the entries from DCR and also removed the device in question from DCR and let it be rediscovered and data collected, still the same...

this is the current export of DCR:
