I am having problems launching the Telnet feature through CiscoView. I click on the Telnet button but nothing happens, I do not receive any error messages through CiscoView or through IE or FireFox, as while as no error messages through the Java console.

I am running CiscoWorks 2.2 SP2 and CiscoView 5.5.

Is this on an XP client by any chance?

Have you tried it on the server itself?

Yes, we are running XP clients. It works from the server. Is there a work-a-round for this?

Replace the telnet.exe that is located in C:\Windows\system32 with an older version of telnet.exe (from Windows 2000)
