I configured ciscoworks 2.5 to get alerted by email when ever any core switch uplink ports or server farm ethernet ports joined or left. (shutdown or unshutdown) Please find below the alert which I am getting :
Syslog message generated from device 192.168.xxx.xxx: Aug 21 09:21:38 192.168.xxx.xxx 2006 Aug 21 06:09:26 GMT+3 +00:00 %ETHC-5-PORTTOSTP:Port 9/34 joined bridge port 9/34
I want to get interface description along with the above email alert, how I can get that.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
