Ciscoworks 2.6 upgrade

We have bought a Ciscoworks 2.6 upgrade. We currently run Ciscoworks2000 on a server but want to run the 2.6 on a new separate server.

Questions:

1. DO I have to install Ciscoworks2000 on the new server before i can go up to 2.6?

2. Can I install the Ciscoworks 2.6 fresh on the new server?

CiscoWorks 2000 is very old, can you check to see what version of Common Services you are running in this bundle?

You can install as an upgrade from a supported version or install clean. If you install clean you will need to run validateupgrade from older CD's or server to validate your upgrade license.
