Ciscoworks 3560 problems

Hi im running Ciscoworks, everything is updated, I have the module for the 3560s installed and Ciscoview works fine, but in the graphical network view under topology services and layer2 view, shows all the 3560s as boxes with question marks and they are listed as "Ciscoproducts.617"

All other switches, (6500's 2950s access points) show up fine.

Any ideas?

What version of Campus Manager are you running?

Support for the various models of 3560s came in the base LMS 2.5 (Campus 4.0) with addition of other models in SP1 and 2. (Campus 4.0.1, Campus 4.0.2). Here's a quick reference to find your specific model...

The .617 doesn't appear to be even in the latest SP3 (CiscoWorks LMS 2.5.1 with Campus 4.0.3).

Looking at a very recent version of CISCO-PRODUCTS-MIB, it appears the .617 is

catalyst3560G48T

It's probably a very new model that hasn't made it in the product yet.

We have another IDU release coming out Mar 31 - not sure if it's in that release or not...

CM 4.0.4 is now available for download from Cisco.com

It provides support for 3560G-24TS and 3560G-48TS:
