ciscoworks background process are down

Hello All

We have successfully installed CiscoWorks and added all of our devices in its database.

After installation all background process started successfully except DFMCTMStartup, DataPurge .

Note: If we start these processes manually again it automatically gets shut down after refresh.

Are these services required to run all the time or this is the desired behavior?

Pease help us to solve this problem.

Really appreciate your help.

Regards

Ashraf

Re: ciscoworks background process are down

These processes are normally down. Being in an Administrator shutdown state is fine for these two. The functions provided by DFMCTMStartup will be handled by another DFM daemon, and DataPurge will run periodically when required.
