Ciscoworks Does not recognize Cat 6504E switch

Configured 6504E is Ciscoworks LMS 2.5, but is shows as unknown device in Device Management. DM version is latest 2.05, all other 6509s and 6506s OK. Any suggestions?

Cat6504 support is added in Cat6000.RME40.v2-0.zip, that requires RME 4.0.4. See http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/cw2000-rme and http://ftp-sj.cisco.com/cisco/cw2000/patches/rme/Cat6000.RME40.v2-0.readme.pdf

CiscoView probably needs similar device support package as well.

You listed 2.0.5 as a version. The only CiscoWorks applications with that version is DFM which currently does not support the Cat 6504-E running IOS. It does, however, support the 6504-E running CatOS.

I run the process upgrade package RME 4.0.6 to Catalyst 6504-E and even so not resolved problems with config archive to device. what to do?
