Hi,
I have a question which is as follows.
Is it possible to run from the Solaris command line an equivelent to Inventory export in CSV format that you can run from the GUI.
I only want to be able to export basic information such as IP address of device etc. You can run the command cwexport from /opt/CSCOpx/bin but this provides too much information which is not required and as there are such a large number of devices this is creating a huge file of which most of the data is not needed.
Running the GUI based export seems to use a file called "exportToFile.pl" is there any way of being able to execute this file from the CLI?
To clarify I am running LMS 2.2 RME 3.5 on Solaris 8.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Dave

You might want to download / install devexp from the location below, it will provide you the tool you are looking for.

Thanks for the response. I will try this out, looks like it should do the trick.
