I am installing a new upgraded ciscoworks LMS 2.6 CD. This is a clean install not upgrade. While installing RME I entered the serial and PAK from the card that came with the box. I got a message at the end.
"YOU HAVE ENTER AN UPGRADE PIN.
PLEASE OBTAIN A VALID UPGRADE LICENSE KEY FROM ccO
THEN LOAD THIS LICENSE KEY INTO CISCOWORKS BY CLICKING ON SERVER--ADMIN---LICENSING
AFTER ENTERING THE LICENSE KEY, PLEASE RUN THE PROGRAM <MSROOT>/BIN/VALIDATEUPGRADE TO VALIDATE THE UPGRADE."
However, if you purchased on upgrade part number, then you are expected to have LMS 2.2 or RWAN 1.3. If not, you will not be able to fully license LMS 2.6. Once you have your upgrade license, you will need to insert the RME 3.5 CD and DFM 1.2 CD to validate that you have a qualifying previous version.
