CiscoWorks - SSH connection

I have since configured ssh on our Cisco IOS Cat6509 switches and at the same time enabled #transport input ssh'.

Doing this, I have now lost download of the configs using the RME >> Configuration Management >> update archive. After I select the 2 Switches, it always comes up as failed.

Going through the check attributes, it sees the telnet as failed even though I have put n the correct password.

How do I go about resolving this?

What version of RME are you using?

Its quite old. Version 3.3

Yeah, there was a bug that required telnet to also be allowed on the VTY line. If you upgrade to the latest RME 3.5, or to RME 4.0, this will be fixed.

Thanks. So if I upgrade, does that mean I will be able to download the configs via RME using ssh?

Thanks. So does it also mean that RME 3.3 will not download config either via ssh or telnet.

It will download the config via telnet.
