Ciscoworks Topology map

Is there any way i can import the topology map from one system to another.

I have just built a new server as the old and is out of maintenance.

Re: Ciscoworks Topology map

No way AFAIK.

It's all linked to deviceid's that are bound to be different.

Unless the databases on both systems are the same, then there is a directory for each user you want to transfer.

Cheers,

Re: Ciscoworks Topology map

The databases are in the same directory structure, I have created two partitions on windows which is the same as the original server and all the ciscoworks dir are on drive D:

Re: Ciscoworks Topology map

If you copy the files from

\CSCOpx\campus\etc\users\admin

from one system to the other the campus maps should follow.

Don't do this unless both databases are the same!!

Cheers,

Michel
