Clearing high-water marks in ciscoPopMgmtMib?

I am using the high-water marks in ciscoPopMgmtMib to track DS0 usage in our voice gateways (3745, 3845). I'd like to see the high-water mark for each day, not just since the unit was rebooted... is there a way to clear these values through the CLI? "clear controllers call-counters system-hwm" is close but doesn't clear the total in cpmActiveDS0sHighWaterMark.

Thoughts?

No, these values cannot be cleared. The SNMP standard dictates that Counter objects must be monotonically increasing, and cannot be reset unless the agent reboots.

You can, however, teach your management application to start counting from the previous day's value each new day. This delta will give you the high water mark for that day.

Bummer. Periodic sampling (5 min) is ok for a SWAG but the intra-sample peaks are the true max... kinda important for call centers.

Thanks - Al
