Is it possible to use Windows Terminal Services and RDP to remotely access Cisco switches and routers?

If so, can anyone help me with the required config?

No this is not possible. To remotely access a Catalyst switch or Cisco router you need to use Telnet or SSH.

You can setup a Windows box on your network running RDP and then, say, from home remote desktop into that box and from there telnet or SSH into the Cisco device.

This is especially useful for doing administration from home when your Cisco devices are configured to only allow remote access from IP addresses on your campus network.

You could look at using CiscoView which would allow you remote access to the devices. You would need snmp configured on the devices and it would present a graphical interface.
