CNA in different scenario

Dear colleagues,

I'm trying to deploy a scenario involving a Catalyst 3560G and four Catalyst 2960. All 2960s are connected to the 3560G, but my "commander" needs to be one of the 2960s. When I do this, I can't run a r-command from the commander to any cluster member. In this topology, all other switches (I mean, all cluster members) appear as having 255 hopes. The only situation in which I can access all switches from a single one is when I put my 3560G as the commander. This situation is not acceptable.

Could you please help me to solve this problem? All equipments have CDP enabled.

Thanks,

Mauricio

Re: CNA in different scenario

cluster commander-address mac-address [member number name name],this command would help setting the 2950 as commander. To disable 3950 as commander use the command no cluster commander-address.Refer the following link http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps628/products_command_reference_chapter09186a0080212c75.html#wp1020898
