i need to take a configration backup of around 20 routers : i can able to give the command " sh config " for the given permisson for the password ,
pls suggest a better tool to do the same

There are a number of different methods and tools to do a config backup of routers:
1) You could use an application like CiscoWorks LMS or SNMS to backup the router configs automatically
2) You can use the CISCO-CONFIG-COPY-MIB via snmp to do it
3) You can manually connect to each router and do a copy run tftp or copy start tftp

If you are looking for a cheap solution - the Kiwi CatTools works well (http://www.kiwisyslog.com) - I believe it may use the "show runn" command though
