configuring only WRED & specifying IP prcedence

Hi,

I have 2 traffic generators, 1 is TCP & other is UDP. I wanna use them with WRED but with assigning min,max thresholds.This configuration i want to do without CBWFQ, secondly the min,max threshold command has ip-precedence(0-7) in it.

I want to assign ip precedence to these traffic sources, but i donno how. I basically wanna test behaviour of different traffic sources using WRED.

I think UDP would not help out for the usage with WRED . TCP would work out .

thnax fot the reply. I understand your point about WRED not being helpful for UDP. but my questions are still there:

1)using WRED, how do i assign traffic for diferent precedence in order to change their min,max thredsholds.

2) Is their a way to only configure WRED & change its parameters & not configuring it throughb CBWFQ.
