copy run start via SNMP

Hi,

We have a mixture of 2960 switches hooked up to a 6509-E switch. We have a requirement to change VLAN port assignments on a regular basis. We have adopted a web interface approach that uses SNMP. All of the 2960s support writeMem.0, but the Cisco 6509-E does not. I need the appropriate mibs for copy running start via SNMP.

I have looked at the Cisco-Config-Copy-Mib.my. I could not get it to work, and walking the mib did not show anything.

Some help would be greatly appreciated.

The CONFIG-COPY-MIB is the way to go. Do not rely on objects from OLD-CISCO-*. This tech tip should give you all of the information you need to use the CISCO-CONFIG-COPY-MIB. If you run into problems, post what you're doing, and the error you get:
