CSCO.Apache -d /opt/CSCOpx/MDC/Apache -D SSL

Hi folks!

I have found a lot of the above messages,

on the unix process management (found whith the command ps -ef):

CSCO.Apache -d /opt/CSCOpx/MDC/Apache -D SSL

the process number was about 30 and had caught a web interface RME Device Management pending white screen.

Anybody knows what is the problem?

Could be an HHTP session pending due to a wrong logout ?

Any helps would be appreciate

Apache forks a process each time a client connects. Each one of these processes represent a connection (either an internal, or user connection). Depending on how heavily used LMS is, seeing an umber of these processes is not symptomatic of a problem.

If there is a real problem with Apache, it will be visible in /opt/CSCOpx/MDC/Apache/logs/error_log.

With theese pending processes no web page appear (RME or DFM). The page still remain in loading in white background.

I killed some of theese processes and I reopened the same wep page.

No more problem I had. I had a good visualizzation.

In attachment there is the opt/CSCOpx/MDC/Apache/logs/error_log file.

Please, could you take a look if there are errors that I can see.. (seems no).

There are some HTTPS problems (looks like someone is trying to make HTTP connections to the SSL port), however, nothing that would indicate a client leak issue. It could very well be that multiple users are keeping these client connections open. Use pfiles on the child process IDs to see what sockets are bound. If they are external client connections, make sure those users know to logout.
