Not sure if correct to post in Network Management or security but will post here to start.
Well versed in the CiscoWorks LMS build and ACS integration having spent some time developing it for our specialise security requirements.
Have now started to look at Cisco Security Manager 3.2.1.
CSM looks like its based on Common Services therefore integration to ACS and the DCR bulk import of devices from ACS was simply the same as we've already done in LMS.
However when you log into the CSM client no devices are present and it seems to be suggesting you need to manually add them and/or import from a CSV exported from DCR.
Whats the point in having the DCR within Common Services fully integrated to automatically import from ACS and populate with default credentials if you then have to export/import into CSM?
Surely there is a slicker way of doing this?
We've explicitly forbidden exports from DCR as the export files contain the usernames/passwords which we don't want users having!
Any ideas?
Thanks

if I understand what you're after, you could slave CSM to the DCR if your LMS is v3

Thanks,
If I understand correctly it looks like we need RME also installed to provide the detailed device and credentials integration.
This can either be locally on the CSM server or remotely on an existing LMS implementation.
If so, that sounds sensible and I'll look into it.
