CEMF is an Element Management Framework that is part of the Cisco Service Management (CSM) system. It uses object-based design and programming techniques to allow flexible integration with other systems and development of new element manager components.
CEMF includes interfaces to applications in the network and service management levels of CSM. It also provides a set of Element Managers (also referred to as blades). Element Managers for non-Cisco network environments can be developed and integrated with CEM.
