I have 2 CSS11501S-K9's in different geographical locations performing GSLB and providing DNS-records for content. I need to provide a "global" redirect to a "sorry out of service" server only if both the servers at each location die.
I have looked though the 8.2 docs and can not come up with a solution. It appears redirection only works when load balancing locally. The dhs-record for the content that has the failed service but has a redirect service active is not weighted any differently than if the original service was active. Is there a way to automatically weight the dns-record when the redirect service is in use?
I have looked at also using a sorry server and this does not seem like a valid solution either.
