CWLMS 3.2 RME Collection Questions

I have some questions reference to REM Collection Status. I have several devices in my network that consistently show up at ‘Recently Failed Devices’, ‘Out of Sync’, ‘Failed to Collect’ and so on. These devices are like PIX firewalls, the NAM, and some other systems that we monitor but don’t collect on. Is there any way I can get RME to stop collecting on these devices or to have them stop showing up on certain reports? If so how? My colleague says these reports used to work but stopped so I guess fixing it would be a solution as well. Thanks for any information.

You could mark the devices as being Suspended in RME.  That would keep RME from trying to perform management operations on them.  RME will still report them as failures, but it will not actually try to collect configs.  Fixing the problems would probably be the better alternative.  You will need to perform a Sync Archive job to one of these devices, then post the specific errors from that job to figure out the next step.
