D&C knows telnet pw, but RME tasks doesn't use it

Hi,

Hope this hasn't been covered recently. I couldn't find past topics about this:

I created a user-defined task in RME and schedule them for execution via NetConfig. The task fails claiming telnet authentication fails, yet I can telnet to the device fine using "Device Troubleshooting". I noticed that if I look at the device's credential template the telnet passwords are not there, but they have to be stored somewhere for the device center of device troubleshooting feature to work. How can I get RME to use these stored telnet passwords.

Though the password must be somewhere inside the software, try to reenter it in the DCR. Choose the device from Common Services > Device and Credentials > Device Management

Navigate down the tree under CS to select the device, choose edit

and click on NEXT to enter the credentials for the device.

Create a new netconfig-job and check job details for any errors.
