DCNM 6.2 - failed to set EthSwitch deep discovery userid is null

New to DCNM.

We have installed DCNM and successfully added 4 Nexus 5500 to the LAN inventory. When we try to enable deep discovery on any of them we get a popup stating: "failed to set EthSwitch deep discovery userid is null". We can not find any reference to what this meens.
The username and password to use for deep discovery is filled in.

Looks like being stubborn works.... Removed the devices, added them, remove, add - repeat a few times - helped.
