DCR : Impossible to display hostname with device selector

I want to see the device-hostname (not the Ip adresse !) in the device selector.

The dcr discovery setting is :

"Preferred DCR display name" = "hostname"

Why doesn't it work ?

Thanks for your answer

Re: DCR : Impossible to display hostname with device selector

That setting is only for Discovery. It tells Discovery to reverse resolve the management IP address to a hostname, and then use that hostname as the DCR display name for the device. If the management IP address cannot be resolved to a hostname, then the IP address will become the DCR display name.

Once you have confirmed DNS or the server's local hosts file is correctly resolving your devices' management IP addresses to hostnames, re-run Discovery, and DCR will be updated (provided you have enabled that option as well).
