DCR - User Defined Groups: server to server copy

Hi folks!

I'm running LMS 2.6 on two solaris 8 machine.

I need to create a large number of User Defined Groups into the DCR of a machine named A.

So, theese Groups are already present in the machine B where I have to erase all the DB.

How I can duplicate the B machine groups into the A machine?

There is a file properties or a configuration file which I can populate by cli or by file copy.

I mean.. an example...

cp DCR_groups.B_machine DCR_groups.A_machine.

Have a nice day!!

Thanks!

Leonardo

Re: DCR - User Defined Groups: server to server copy

This is not currently possible as there is no way to export or import OGS groups. This is being looked at as a potential enhancement for a future release.

There is a cheesey way to copy OGS configuration rules, cut n paste :) Its bad but its the only thing that works, and some of the membership rules I have are 20-30 lines long.
