Deleted Device in CiscoWorks LMS

I deleted a router from CiscoWorks LMS that was no longer in use or on the network. This was done a while ago.

I have been looking through my firewall logs and I notice that CiscoWorks has been sending ICMP packets to this device.

I have not been able to find any reference to this deleted device in CiscoWorks.

Any advice on how to stop CiscoWorks sending these packets would be much apreciated.

Re: Deleted Device in CiscoWorks LMS

The only applications within LMS that use ICMP are DFM and User Tracking.

Which version of LMS is this?

How frequently are these ICMP packets getting to your firewall?

According to the packaging it is 2.2

ICMP packets arriving at the firewall every 3 minutes

Thanks

Re: Deleted Device in CiscoWorks LMS

Most likely, the device is left in DFM somewhere.

Go to DFM -> Admin Console and check
