detect 1700 or 1800 serial router question

when I in 1700 and 1800 serail router to change manage ip,and recovery again,it still detect wan ip,and not lan or loopback ip,why?

The remark is in 2600 router won't have.

it means in CM option,it only detects wan port ip in 1700 or 1800 serial model,but I hope I can get its loopback or lan port ip,do you know how to do?
